The Ray FBLA Chapter does several different fundraisers and activities.
The fundraisers and activities that we do include:
Monthly Meetings
Pizza Corner pizzas- The chapter sell pizzas to raise money to go on trips. Pizza's are sold every fall.
Christmas baking- We make the Christmas cookies and snacks and deliver them to the people that preordered them.
Community Carnival- We hold a carnival every year for the members in our community. We provide multiple games, prizes, and food. Our business community helps by donating money for prizes and to assist with ticket sales.
Relay for Life- We have a committee that raises money for the relay for life. Each August we participate in the Relay held in Williston.
Silent auction-Students in the chapter put things together and we sell them in a silent auction at the end of the year banquet.
Community Involvement- It is our goal to help in our community as much as we can. We often provide assistance with the Chamber of Commerce events, the phones cooperative's annual meeting, cleaning up our community and planting flowers to make our main street more appealing.
State Leadership Conferences- This is a conference that allows all of the FBLA chapters in ND to come together and to learn more about leadership. You can take tests and run for a state office. You can qualify for the national conference held in the summer, if you place top 4 in your competitive event.
National Leadership Conferences- Top placers in competitive events at the State Leadership Conference have the opportunity to complete against students from across the nation at this conference. Location of the conference varies from year to year.
Fall Leadership Conferences- Our chapter officers attend this conference each fall in Bismarck.
Halloween Dance
FBLA Week- We promote FBLA and provide activities to get students involved in our organization.
Concessions- A lot of our funding comes from selling food at various tournaments that are held at our school.
ATM Machine- Two years ago the FBLA purchased an ATM machine that is placed in the commons area of our school.
Clothing Sales- Clothing is sold to students and adult members of the school community through our online FBLA store.
Lock-in- We promote FBLA by holding a lock-in one night at the school. We do various activities throughout the night.
